TUM Professor wurde mit SIMAI Preis ausgezeichnet

“The committee was impressed by the breadth and depth of the excellent research of Massimo Fornasier.
He has made very important contributions to a wide range of applications including multiscale modeling, sparse recovery of data and signals,
image recovery and deblurring, and adaptive frame methods. He has an impressive publication record with publications that have appeared in all the leading journals of the field
and show his great versatility in modelling, mathematical and numerical analysis and computations.”

Der Preis wird offiziell beim nächsten SIMAI Kongress in Turin 25.-29. Juni 2012 verliehen, zu dem Prof. Dr. Fornasier als Hauptredner eingeladen ist.
SIMAI ist die "italienische Gesellschaft für angewandte und industrielle Mathematik" (Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata ed Industriale, SIMAI).
